AoB Inspired Crazy Awesome Hair Stakes
I admit it I'm a crazy about Ascendance of a Bookworm so I had to go and make the fanciest hair stakes I make for this fandom. The colors of these hair stakes are Dark and Light Blue and golden amber for Rozemyne and Ferdinand's hair and eyes. There are 6 total charms representing elements found in Part 3. A Harspiel, Lady reading a book, an open book with "Bookworm" above, Red Panda bus, and a book with a quill in fount.
The Total Length is about 15.25" long (length of sticks and tassel)
The stick is 9" long the top 2/3 of the stick is Dark Blue with gold flowers while the bottom 1/3 of the sticks are natural bamboo.
Each Tassel is about 6.25" long and is comprised of 8 beads, 3 charms, a 10mm diamond finding, 6 silver-tone 10mm round findings, and some chain.
Beads for each tassel- Starting from the top is a 12mm glass Light Blue faceted round, a 20x16mm Amber faceted oval, 3 Dark Blue 4mm faceted round, and lastly 3 champagne 4mm glass bi-cones.
Charms- are made from Thermoplastic the art is hand inked onto each charm
I over engineer theses stakes so they don't catch in your hair. What that means in detail is I counter sink the eyelet into the stick so there is no gap for your hair to get caught, for added security I E6000 the eyelet into place. The Bobble and Stick are connected with a split-ring; basically a miniature key-ring, once again so there is no were for your hair to get caught. And I wire wrap the beads and charms together. All this means that your hair should not get caught in the charms. It also means that it is very securely put together.
